Roberts, Jr: Most of us in SCOTUS live and support President Trump and tariffs are completely acceptable. It is too bad that politically motivated activist judges are around. But we who live and support the President are not bipartisan and fair and balanced.

Assume they pull it off and lift the presidential term limit. Then Trump dies in office before he can secure a third term.
Assume a Democrat is the next president.
Now they’ve cleared the path and way for a Democrat president to rule for life, change the landscape of the Supreme Court, and freeze out Republicans forever.
Of course, I know in this fabricated scenario Republicans will immediately reverse course under a Democrat presidency and crow about how no term limits is „unconstitutional“.
