      Disgusting.

      Parole is what, 3.3 years? And that’s not including time served. A literal slap on the wrist for torturing/killing a child.

      This country’s priorities are sincerely broken.

      Now name the Alberta social worker who handed her back to those murderers- when she had loving grandparents trying to adopt her who had raised her since birth. They are just as complicit in her murder.
      I hope it haunts them forever. They should be ashamed.

      Publications that use AI or do titles like this for click bait don’t deserve our traffic.

      Clearly she never planned to be a mother but it’s disgusting she didn’t let her parents adopt her when they were going through the process (and Alberta Social Services was fine with it).

      JFC I can’t stand hearing about this stuff. Chloe Guan-Branch was her name. Take a moment of silence for her. That poor child didn’t deserve this.

      Some people shouldn’t have children. Based on what she did, she is one of them. And it is for the same reason that I will not have any either. But still, no one in their right minds would refuse to take their child to a doctor when that child is sick to the point that she could not walk. In fact, any normal person would have brought a child to the ER. So, she was intentionally letting the girl suffer by failing to get help.

      What is clear is that once she is out of prison, that criminal record will make it much harder for her to get many jobs because she won’t pass a background check. Any job that has to do with children or the elderly would be off-limits because of the vulnerable sector check.

      That poor child – she looks pale and uncomfortable, forced to smile for the photos before her death. Her expression is more open, happy and comfortable in the photos when in the care of her grandparents
