      reading the article, they havent been told to specifically do this against US forces but rather the article is restating current EU military doctrine, which somewhat ironically is based on US doctrine (to the degree the US has a doctrine).

      Think its important to note this law was passed in 1952 after the end of the world war II and after a commision investigated what happen with the break down in communication between Copenhagen and the Danish troops in southern Denmark near the border to Germany.

      This is a standing order to defend the Kingdom if communication breaks down, just as Sweden has a principle saying the nation will never surrender and if people hear this its propaganda.

      Its not related to the Greenland debacle at all. (A lot of people dont read the articles linked here)

      One thing that i’m curious if it may work is if nobody goes to work for a prolonged period of time until trump gets impeached by his own party.

      They should refuse flights from America, they should refuse any ships from America that try to dock. If all of Europe did the same, it would at least demonstrate our solidarity

      Obviously, I don’t want anyone getting shot and killed, but I won’t support our troops engaging in senseless wars.

      Trump’s people are now saying they will buy Greenland from Denmark as Republicans in Congress are denouncing invasion. Denmark already said it is not for sale during Trump’s first term.

      Okay, but … there’s already a US base there. If an invasion happens it would go on from there.

      Part of me wonders if expelling them off the base and replacing them with the French or Brits would be a good idea. Then again, it might cause even more insane actions from Trump.

      It’s crazy like honestly, mind-blowing. we are at the point where Nato needs to deploy troops against the US, Even at the start of trumps presidency this would have been seen out of the realm of reality, Trump is essentially kicking The US our of its own military world order that The US is the LEADER of and holds the most power and infuence in. The US is not shooting itself in the foot but throwing itself in an Incinerator.
