Während seiner Bemerkungen bei der jährlichen Klausurtagung der Republikaner im Repräsentantenhaus am Dienstag (6. Januar) würdigte der Präsident, wie seine Frau Melania hasst seinen Eindruck vom Tanzen und Gewichtheben, hat es aber trotzdem gemacht.
"Sie sagte tatsächlich: „Könnten Sie sich vorstellen, dass FDR tanzt?“" Trump teilte mit und bezog sich dabei auf den ehemaligen Präsidenten Franklin Delano Roosevelt, der nach einer Polio-Erkrankung unterhalb der Taille gelähmt war.
