      I know this means literally nothing, but as an American, I feel awful about this. I can’t believe he’s alienating us from NATO.

      I’m writing to my representatives begging them to resist action against our allies. I voted against this. It’s maddening.

      As an American, I’m sorry, I didn’t vote for Trump but I’m sorry half our country got roped into thinking this guy was somehow smart. I literally think he has dementia, his anger and rambling non-sensical rants are textbook for early-mid stage dementia.

      To be fair, the Russian invasion into Ukraine opened our eyes.

      We thought it was done, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the diplomacy that has worked since WW2 could keep the peace.

      But now, with Trump taking the „hammer over diplomacy“ way, everything that had kept the peace in Europe, though fragile in some cases (I’m looking at you, Balkans) is out the window….. now it’s simply a countdown to the next WW.

      It is so weird to me that he thinks the NATO-spending is money to the US in ANY capacity.

      It isn’t, that is simply untrue.

      If the US start hiking up their military spending, the european percentage will be less as a result off that.

      If the US abolished their military tonight, the NATO-spending would be european-Canada-only.

      He is right about the spending though. We Europeans laughed about the military budget of the USA for decades. I never thought that it is smart to be dependent on the USA and now we are getting the bill

      We Europeans have been lazy and dependent on another country. That was simply wrong

      Whenever I told people that we shouldn’t depend on the USA they laughed at me. Because spending money on Defense was ridiculous to them

      Now we can’t even defend ukraine by ourselves

      We Europeans need to learn from our mistakes

      Yes it’s an absurd crash out, but I understand his perspective and don’t necessarily disagree.

      We didn’t pay our share as we as many other vowed to do.

      I can also understand his perspective on the peace price to be honest. I don’t know enough about how much truth there is to these wars that allegedly stopped by the trump admin, so I can’t say for sure.

      Truth is that if Trump has singlehandedly saved the earth from certain collapse, I’m pretty sure a lot of people, Norwegian and otherwise would still not given him the prize regardless due to their hatred for him.

      Trump casually ignoring the fact that the only time Nato invoked article 5 was after 9/11 and that NATO did in fact help them in Afghanistan. This guy is crazy.

      That psycho’s PCL-R score is actually around 30 points. That is a complete psychopath. For info, the US has topped the score up to 30 points for full psycho, while a lot if the rest of the world considers 25 points as a complete psychopath… The sheep country.

      Of course the fucking idiot doesn’t know that NATO’s article 5 have only been invoked once, and that was in defense of the US after the 9/11 attacks. It was done without the US requesting it.

      But yeah sure, NATO isn’t there for the US.
