Let’s see how many countries support Donny boy when he actually lets the regime in place except now he takes whatever oil he wants for free or at a gigantic discount for personal profit and to help out giant oil companies and his billionaire friends while nothing really changes for everyone in Venezuela
The biggest winner here is Guyana because it finally removed the threat of invasion for the next 20 years.

Interesting map, but I feel like the legend needs a bit more sourcing/context. Some of these positions are super conditional (public statements vs official policy, and whether it is about international law, sovereignty, or just domestic politics).
If anyone is trying to read up on the basics of how international law concepts get discussed in a Canadian context, I have found a few explainers useful here: https://www.theailawyer.ca/blog/

What’s the difference between „respects international law“ and „condemns the operation“.
What if I say I oppose it because it is a violation of international law? As far as I know several of the countries in red were not fans of Maduro. They are Leftist but not supporters of insane tyrants.

Why does this assume Venezuela is ok with this?

My Brazilian friends have all been dancing on Maduro’s figurative grave lol. Unfortunately Brazil doesn’t represent it’s people much at all.

Canada and Guatemela have the only reasonable opinion.
Sure, Maduro was a dictator and a felon to his own people. But that doesn’t give the US the right to kidnap him, especially not under fabricated „drug terrorism“ charges.
He should have been removed and put on trial by his own people for the manipulated elections and persecution of political opponents.
