Protests in Iran have entered their seventh night and continue to spread nationwide.

Security forces are using live fire and heavy force, the death toll has risen to 16, and arrests are increasing.

The leadership is openly calling for repression while protests, strikes, and clashes continue across many cities.

      • Demonstrations and strikes reported in 174 locations across 60 cities in 25 provinces

      • At least 44 protesters shot and wounded by live ammunition or pellet guns. Around 15 have died along with at least one security member.

      • Around 582 protesters detained, including minors.

      • Security forces opened direct fire on protesters in Malekshahi, killing and injuring several people.

      • Hospitals in Malekshahi are under strain and need blood supplies.

      • Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei called protesters rioters and demanded repression.

      • Protesters burned street fires and disabled surveillance cameras in Mahallat.

      • Police kiosk set on fire in Mahallat.

      • Videos show security forces beating civilians in Shiraz and Mashhad.

      • Protesters confronted security forces and lit fires in Farsan.

      • Pro monarchy slogans chanted during a rally in Yasouj.

      • Protesters set fire to a banner of Qassem Soleimani in Shiraz.

      • Exiled prince Reza Pahlavi urged protesters to block streets and maintain control.

      • Kurdish Komala party called for nationwide strikes and protests.

      • Strikes by shopkeepers and bazaar merchants continued and spread.

      • European Union expressed concern over deaths and urged restraint (Thank you the EU, useless as ever. How about designate the IRGC as terrorists and expel them as so many Iranians ask of you?)

      • Donald Trump posted support for Iranian protesters. Will this fan the flames of a revolution? Many Iranians are also asking him to make a direct speech for the protestors.

      • Elon Musk mocked Khamenei’s statement about not giving in to enemies. Can we also see some leftist influencers or leaders attacking the regime? Or are they officially allied with the oppressive, genocidal, Islamist dictators at this point? What a weird reality.
