Why bother? Clinton got impeached for having a consentual affair with an adult and Trump is a 32 count felon, who appears to be in much deeper waters than we ever imagined (like Lake Michigan deep), yet his base still loves him…and the opposition seems unwilling to do anything but bend the knee to him.

All of the oil drilling and refining equipment there originally belonged to the big oil companies. It was seized by the Venezuelan govt.
Trump made it very clear this whole thing was about drugs and oil. US oil companies pretty much singlehandedly built up venezuelas oil infrastructure and then when construction was completed Maduro kicked out all of the american workers and started selling the oil to Russia and China.
