      Absolutely dominant display today. Van Veen played well enough but Littler was just insanely good. What a final checkout too.

      Insane. Back to back world titles at 18. He’s played in 3 world championships, won 2, and runner up in the other. This guy can eclipse Taylor.

      Incredible but he really needs some credible opposition or it becomes boring. Walked the whole tournament.

      If people don’t follow darts so closely they won’t know how impressive this is. He absolutely dominated MVG and GVV in the finals, it wasn’t close. This man is the best player in the world by some margin.

      Well deserved, absolutely dominated. Find it really odd how people on the pub I was watching it in were supporting Van Veen. Can we really not celebrate our own?

      Glad he obliterated it. The pissheads booing him deserve him giving them a short night with less pints to sink.

      Feel for van Veen, he didn’t even play that bad. Littler is so far ahead of everyone on the tour right now. 18 years old man.

      It’s great seeing a peak performing sportsman in their field. LL is clearly elite. However, As a guy that’s battled being overweight my whole life, I wish someone would take him to one side and help him trim down. It just gets harder and harder to shift, and worse on the body too. He can easily afford a personal trainer and chef to help him. Every time is see him play i think this, great darts player though lol.

      It was horrible to see Sir Chris Hoy in crutches and a leg brace, he was Knockhill recently and looked ok…

      Out of all the tournaments he’s played in, the only two he hasn’t won are the Masters and European Championship. Absolutely insane. People have been flaming him for being too cocky, but he backs it up, so I say let him be.

      I don’t know much about darts. But I’m really happy for him. He seems like a normal guy who is just insanely good at what he does. Transforming the cliche that this sport is for fat guys in their 40s drinking pints. Hopefully inspires a whole new generation.

      I was gutted when he didn’t place for SPOTY.
