Given how American ICE claimed a sandwich was a deadly weapon, forgive me if I take their claims about assault with a grain of salt.

these headlines always have some inferred punctuation that I miss, so I was thinking it said „she *illegally* kicked someone in the face“ on the USA side,
And I was thinking, well yeah, it’s the US, there’s probably some legal way to kick someone in the face, right? I mean at least in Florida. It’s one of the lesser known constitutional amendments they were mentioning on Fox news, I think.
But remember everyone, we have to respect their face-kicking culture and laws when visiting our neighbours to the south – don’t be an Ugly Canadian and do any illegal face kicking, follow their rules!

Sensational headline bullshit. I witnessed something similar when crossing the border at Niagara Falls. The border agents were taking a woman to the back for a search and as they were going through the door, the woman put her hand on a female agent that was in front of her. It was a simple act of creating distance because there were 4-5 people all going through the door. Well damn, they spun her around, up again the wall and on went the cuffs. These border agents can get a bit power hungry 🤤
Look at these clowns lining up to defend more acts of police corruption in a country already overrun by fascism! Fall in line like good little boys.
At least she has a good story about the last time she was ever in the USA.

Getting denied entry for trying to pass with a THC vape was likely the nicest thing they could have done. Didn’t end well overall…
I cannot believe how cavalier people have become regarding cannabis. Yes, it’s legal in Canada and legal in Washington state, but no, you cannot cross a border with it or any other THC containing paraphernalia or devices. However, this seems to be the least of this woman’s problems.
