I can’t imagine literally every other nominee who’s ever lost not have the exact same situation. But Eddie is special

Meh. That’s okay. He didn’t win, and probably would rather go to bed than stay up having to rub elbows at the after parties. The dude earned his right to do whatever the hell he wants.

This is my all time worst Oscar snub. I was blown away by his performance in Dream Girls. Val Kilmer for Tombstone is a close second but IMO this one is even more egregious.

In retrospect, Alan Arkin has been around for a long time and finally won in a best picture nominee. Someone should’ve managed his expectations beforehand.
