      I hate this. But, it might create some fomo and actually draw people in. For some reason people are drawn to things with limited availability.

      Just gotta accept that we don’t live in the same world anymore. I’m a mid millennial and I adore the fact that I grew up with the infancy of the internet but it was kinda dumb so I spent most of my time building dirt ramps in the woods to launch my bike off of. And I used to go to the movies like twice a week because it was $5 and there was nowhere else to get entertainment like that when you’re 15 years old. Not the case anymore, for better or for worse. Netflix is just rolling with that.

      Which is still longer than most non-Hollywood studio films last in theatres, on account of all the studio stuff squeezing them out.

      When was the last time anyone who might read this went to see a new release for the first time on its third weekend out?
