    1. > When asked if she and Spielberg, 79, have talked about it, she said, „Well, it was so funny because Steven won for director and I won [Best Actress]. And Steven has been at this rodeo for a very long time, and even 25 years ago had already been at the rodeo a very long time.“

      > She said that she tries not to focus on awards too much, because there’s “a lot of great work” that doesn’t get recognized.

      > “We never know why one thing wins over the next,” she said.

    2. I’m glad the article’s author addressed the elephant in the room (Weinstein’s Oscar campaigning), because Paltrow provided nothing more than a word salad of vapidness.

The debate around what movies „deserved“ an Oscar is always funny to me.

Saving Private Ryan feels like „middle aged dad Oscar bait“. I’m happy to see literally anything else have won the award.

Does she address stealing the script from Winona Ryder’s house leading her to audition for the part??
