She’s investigating a country that isn’t a Rome Statute member and literally passed a law that they’d invade the Hague if an American was taken there for trial. All while the president of said country is a lunatic.
Not sure what she expected to happen
Allowing American companies to more or less monopolize all of these things was an incredibly stupid thing for every western country to do.
This is a solid reason to develop alternate financial systems. Historically concern about the international community steering away from US finance system has driven the US to be at least a little restrained.
But with Trump destroying every aspect of US soft power the rest of the world will need to find alternatives.
If nothing else, I’m glad this is happening because far too many people posting here had no issue with this happening when the targets were convoy supporters. Either you have an issue with restricting people from participating in society or you don’t. If it’s okay if it’s not your team then this is how it will be used.
