Little bit of humanity goes a long way. Not that most of the Russians deserve it
Sadly, all they will receive for this otherwise reasonable choice is a few weeks of safety, comfort, fair treatment and adequate food.
After that they will be exchanged back to ruzzia, where they will be (illegally) sent back to the front, to a command that will consider them unreliable traitors, and therefore use them as expendable meat.
Every day that I realize I am not a ruzzian is a very good day. 🙏
