The deal is 90% ready…to be rejected out of hand by the Russians instantly the moment it gets sent to them. It’s all about placating Trump, there is no chance of it actually stopping anything.
The Ukrainians are working the situation as best they can, working with the Americans at every step and agreeing everything they can so the Russians will get the blame within the White House when the deal then immediately collapses.
Not that it matters, because Putin will then phone Trump personally, tell him how amazing he is, and then everything’s reset back to square one anyway.
Ehm, Ukraine is not negotiating with Russia, but with the US. There is no war between Ukraine and US. Without Russia on the table there can be no peace deal
