Some witnesses claim one fella took a pee in the Ganges, India’s most spiritual stream of life.
Yeah, well, there’s plenty of mistreating foreign visitors based on cultural differences and strict but unwritten social norms to go around, it seems.
Of course, a fair number of Japanese people will claim they are the victims here without even a bit of self-awareness.
This legit needs to be talked about, but that said, I hope this brings some reflection to how tourists are being judged in Japan (and all foreign residents too) with all the xenophobic crap in Japan recently.
Pretty rich for Indians to be concerned about alleged urination when human bodies and untreated sewage is dumped in the Ganges 24/7
hope they don’t mind getting told 嫌やったら国に帰った方がいいのでは。。。?
If indeed this guy was observed pissing in the Ganges than clearly he deserves to be called out. I don’t think that constitutes as mistreatment. And I’m saying this as a Japanese person who’s been to the Ganges
