Russia is going full reta*d now. Trying to take the maximum amount of territory at the last minute at whatever it costs. These lives mean nothing to putin. They are just a bunch of nobody’s from Russia’s hinterlands, very few Moskovites are dying.
russia is a suicidal nation. useless country and nation. we hope they Let’s hope that after the war we won’t hear about them anymore, because they’ll be glad if they even have something to eat.

Ukraine’s own weapons production is getting better everyday. On top of tha imagine the moral problems on the Russian side – stepping over the burnt flesh of your predecessors. How the fuck do they motivate themselves to enter the meat grinder?
Because Russia knows Trump will back them on territorial concessions, so they’re pushing to take as much land as they can now, so that Putin can claim „victory“ to the idiotic Russian public and so when they inevitably attack later after licking their wounds, they’re that much further ahead.
Putin can’t pay dividends with the land he already has because Ukraine would just continue with insurgencies, preventing any significant infrastructure from being built. So he needs the entire country under his thumb, which could take years of fighting that he doesn’t really have. The Russian elite will get tired of his gambit and have him killed or he’ll simply die off with a legacy of failure which probably scares him just as much. He took a massive gamble with this invasion hoping a liberal US govt and EU would roll over for him like Obama did before. He’s hoping this ceasefire would happen so that he can walk the next generation of Russians into preparing for the next big push.
They like making these pushes whenever there’s an upcoming peace deal. Maybe we can exploit this somehow as they’re getting predictable.
Unfortunately, each peace attempt feels like Trump is taking his mask off to show his pro-Russian side.
