With all due respect to the Christian organization quoted in the article: Please feel free to advise adherents to members of your faith community (assuming they joined your group voluntarily amd their continued involvement is not based on coercion), but please stay out of the lives of people who don’t share your beliefs.
Extending MAiD requests to future needs will only relieve the needless suffering of those who chose this path for themselves. Why should special interest groups and their lobbyists get to dictate the choices available to the rest of us .
MAiD is one of the few areas of the Canadian heath system where the patient needs come first.
