    1. $5 billion is nowhere near enough to save Intel. Throwing any money at them is never going to fix what is a decadent corporate structure and upper management.

For all the criticisms, the US government and Nvidia investing in Intel is probably better than the alternative of Intel just outright failing and being stripped by other companies in the space. And if Intel under competent management rebounds the stock price was very cheap compared to their potential. The US is also „$6B richer“ from the deal so far if we’re doing the same math as the title did for Nvidia.

Reality is prices go up for us while the bubble inflates. Government bails out these assholes when the bubble bursts with tax dollars.

Fucked on the way up, fucked on the way down while these execs get billions.

    4. When this bubble bursts, it’s going to be bad for everyone but the people that caused it.

    5. So, by now how many trillions of fake dollars are running around on the stock market related to „future“ AI returns?

The Ukraine military is using inertial navigation of drones to side-step electronic jamming of GPS and FPV steering, and A.I. to help with target choice once the drone reaches the combat area.

For instance, it might target the fractioning tower of a refinery, with A.I. circling the refinery to make sure it will crash into the correct target.

This tells me that militaries will use A.I. in some form.
