I got non-stop hiccups for almost 5 days straight after a surgery a few years back and it was the only time in my life that I seriously thought about ending my life. People may laugh at the idea of unending hiccups, but I was never able to sleep for longer than 20 minutes. After 4 days of no sleep I was starting to lose my mind. If the medication they gave me had not stopped them, I really think I would have gone insane and might have attempted to do something drastic just to make it end. And that was after having a surgery to fix a health issue that had me in constant pain, 24/7, for over 18 months. That sucked, but did not break me, I figured out how to live with the constant pain. 4+ days of non-stop hiccups broke me and I was wishing for the sweet relief of death.

His hiccups are symptom of something quite serious going on in his guts.

That said, I’d probably get banned if I stated clearly what I wish for that person. I’ll say it’s actually a gentler fate than those hundreds of thousands whose deaths he’s ultimately responsible.
