Maga always claims that they will turn if trump does something truly bad…but history shows that they will instead defend trump to the end no matter what he does

The moment they acknowledge a lie wasn’t for them, but to them, the last 10 years of their lives crumbles:

The holiday fights with family and friends, the Tuesday Trumper rallies downtown, the church prayers for Trump’s safety and vindication…

Their self-identity, social circles, perceptions, decision making, appearance, etc, etc…

All a lie.

I’m not extending any empathy, but that must feel terrifying to rebuild from. They did it to themselves.

Before I considered MAGA, just Americans whom have been fooled and conned. But now I realize and see they’re always one of three things, racist, wealthy, or a pedophile.

We have seen movies before depicting the masses believing lies. Lies are easier to digest, especially if critical thinking has been dulled and what MAGA shows is they will believe anything but the truth. There is no level of shock they can endure to see what has truly occurred.

This problem started years ago and the lies embrace cultural challenges to lean towards a lazy approach, that people do not have to change. For the loyalty they demonstrate, the agreed to release connection to reality and will capitulate on any flaw their leader shows. That they can crawl back into a closet and demonize any American that may be different.

Donald Trump is simply a vehicle and while it is good to see people standing up for rights in this time, the real message is that we need the missing portion of the electorate to activate. Get involved, VOTE dammit.

This will not end until the masses of Non-voters gets off their asses or off the rock they have been calmly sitting upon and make their voices heard.

It matters.

And they didn’t change.

If they had any capability for self-reflection they never would have hung on one tenth as long as they have. It is their whole personality and life at this point and couldn’t possibly handle that they have been backing the bad guys the whole time

In ten years no one will ever have liked trump and they always were against him. Like how they all are trying to say they have always been against war even though they were literally the same people who cheered on the bush invasions and attacked anyone who dared be against it 20+ years ago

We already knew. In 2016, Trump said he could shoot someone in broad daylight and he wouldn’t lose supporters. He was completely correct
