The coast Is pretty black, but they don’t identify as Black but Latino or White, sometimes it can be hard to convince them they are Mulatto.

In the mountains where sugar growing was not economically feasible, there’s a city called Santiago de los Caballeros, the people there look traditionally Hispanic, the buildings there are nicer the roads are much better taken care of. Very big difference in wealth that you just wouldn’t expect. It’s about where the 27 & 28 are on this map.
