    1. „However, a White House official told the Daily Beast that the DOJ still has the reins, contradicting the Axios scoop“

You know I might be cynical, but think maybe the white house is lying.

The movie „The Pelican Brief“ (1993) is fictional, of course, but it’s an interesting study in how catastrophically the US has fallen. How its standards, norms and expectations have been *destroyed*.

In the movie the massive controversy was the mere implication that the President had even the slightest influence on the DOJ. That he in any way influenced how the DOJ operated was enough to absolutely destroy his presidency.

Look at it now. Just a busted banana republic idiocracy, where the DOJ literally works as the personal law obscurers for the pedo-in-chief.

    3. Doesn’t matter. The bottle has been opened. Until they release the full unredacted files this will be a chain around this administrations neck

    4. Hope they are available to explain exactly what Trump claims is the hoax part of it.

    5. I remember the scandal (rightfully so…) when President Clinton met with the Attorney General for five minutes on the tarmac.

Nothing makes me want to ignore the daily beast more than headlines like that.
