So what is exactly breaking?
You can be spiritual but not religious. A common move these days. Religious institutions are all about money power and control.

Well, I mean the right wing turned religion into a weapon against Americans…
One of the reasons I think is because like everything else, religion started to feel like a disingenuous grift. People are seeking comfort and community, not a drain on their pockets, judgement and being told they’re going to hell.
