Europe is the sponsor of this war. As President Trump said it was Europe who gave billions to Russia for Russian energy. Russia used that money to build weapons.
And yet Trump is convinced that having strong economic ties with Russia will prevent them from starting future wars. I think history with Europe shows that is wrong.
Wait, is Turkey in the EU now ?

Ah, it seems Europe did not have to “account for” Turkey. Or India. Or China. Or North Korea.
Or maybe Europe did account for it but understood that they could only control what happens WITHIN their borders, not across the whole world.
So maybe after all this situation is neither surprising nor unusual, and this article is a backhanded attack on European unity pushing a false polarizing narrative.
