You’d think Russia is authoritarian, but China is on a whole another level.

With everything their leader doesn’t like being cancelled/banned/redacted, you’re expecting us to believe the U.S.A is one of the leading nations when it comes to press freedom?
Stop insulting us.

What’s beautiful in it? The points are so scattered that one could pick any 2 random axis (e.g. global average temperature and number of pirates in the world) and have the same „pattern“.

Lol the heritage foundation as a source tells me all I need to know. Thank you for citing your sources. The heritage foundation cannot be trusted
For example, did the wealthy countries become rich first and then develop freedom of the press…or did they get press freedom and then become wealthy?

Is it really a free press if it’s all owned by billionaires with the same right wing politics? Just because it’s not controlled directly by the government doesn’t mean it’s free.

Singapore is worse than India? Hmm.
I’d like to see a time-series representation of these data. [Hans Rosling](https://www.ted.com/talks/hans_rosling_the_best_stats_you_ve_ever_seen) used to do these charts and show how they evolved. That’s a must-watch video btw…
