The Ottoman Empire no controlling Eastern Thrace and Istanbul in 1878? Must be a wrong map.
EDIT: it’s just the Asian part. Still, seems like it should include the Red Sea coasta including Mecca, Medina etc.
Its more like a propaganda map its highly innacurate.
So , it is a good thing now to brag about empires and the shitty things they’ve done?
The Ottoman Empire was commonly referred to as Turkey throughout its existence.
