Yeah, when your kid calls you a deadbeat dad in private, you don’t publicize it and call him whiny. You rethink your life choices.

I saw that „Actors on Actors“ video where Alexander seemingly half-jokingly calls him a dead-beat dad, then Stellan pretends to be emotional about it, lol. They then go into discussing the roles they’re up for awards this year.
In the suggested videos for that one, there was a video on YouTube from about 3 decades ago where Stellan is puttering around this, shall we say, *cozy* home, trying to prepare dinner, while a tween/teen Alexander is doing homework at the dining table. It seemed very cute.
