If there were to be a rail link to France constructed there would need to be serious talk about it happening now. The channel tunnel took 6 years to build and a direct tunnel to Brittany is multiples of the distance.
Even a rail connection to the UK, more feasible and more useful won’t be a reality in 25 years
French person here. First of all I must warn you trains linked to the SNCF are legally required to be late. _Some_ arrive on time but it’s only to keep you on your toes for all the ones that are late.

The Good Friday Agreement says that Northern Ireland will remain part of the UK _“until a majority of the people both of Northern Ireland and of the Republic of Ireland wished otherwise“_ (direct quote from wiki).
But… Do you people believe the UK government would „relinquish sovereignty“ over Northern Ireland if the conditions were met?
Let’s assume the super majority of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland agreed for simplicity sake.
It’s not that I don’t trust Brits, it’s that I don’t trust governments.
I assume regular people like you and I living in the UK will want to honour the agreement, and I want to be optimistic, but I don’t know.
