So many of these comments are over the top. They are kids and weren’t told to handshake. They apologized and will handshake next time. Why is this a story and why are people that upset.
Yeah, that’s bullshit. Some of these players were on the team last year, and all of them grew up watching the World Juniors, so they should know better. I really hope the coach tore a strip off them in the locker room after the game.
The cockiness was especially embarrassing, tapping the Czech player on the butt and taking an unsportsmanlike penalty at the end is just stupid. That’s not the Canadian hockey I’m used to watching. Smarten the fuck up and give your balls a tug.
Stay classy team Canada. Your attitude wreaks of arrogance. You tapped in an empty net and acted like you had the game in hand, you were lucky to win the game.
I love my Team Canada but karmas a b. Early round exit is coming. Sore losers are one thing, bad winners are worse.
