After numerous conflicts between Armenia and Azerbaijan following the fall of the USSR, the current number of Muslims in Armenia is 500 people out of 3 million, or 0.02% of the population.
What an orribile choice of color palette
well,
USSR „destroying“ Russia’s culture of Orthodoxy, (which had been one of their main points for 1,000 years) is disgusting.
I’d be interested to know more about if these populations were free to practice, if this percentage is „people descended from Muslims“ or what. Since „Muslim“ is not an ethnicity, are we to assume these percentages reflected actively practicing Muslims?
