Seems to make it clear that Eddie would have done better in the 90s if he hadn’t had such a massive ego. The guy’s whole segment was making fun of celebrities, a person with emotional intelligence wouldn’t go “those bastards are coming after me!”, it would be “hey, I’m such a big celebrity they’re making fun of me! Cool!”

So here is the thing. I love the vampire in Brooklyn movie. It’s surprisingly well done for what it is, but you’ve got to be on crack to expect that to have been successful at the box office.

Certainly not worth getting defensive over.

Asking for sympathy after cracking a one-liner of his supposed hero, well well well how the turn tables…

    4. There’s a lot—A LOT—you can say about Bill Cosby. But one thing he was 100% right about was when he invited Eddy Murphy to his house after seeing one of his shows, sat him down, and told him he was a disgrace, that he made them all look bad, and to get out of his house.

It was a low blow, but it was a joke. It’s a weird thing to hold a grudge over.

Wait until he hears how long Eddie’s kid by Scary Spice waited for him to acknowledge their existence lol

Spade’s claim to fame was playing 2nd fiddle to Chris Farley in 2 movies and then playing 2nd-4th fiddle to Sandler in a bunch of interchangeable comedies that were made for no reason other than for Sandler to take vacations with his friends, get the current A-lister hotties to play his wife in them, all to simply make 90 minute commercials for their sponsors (royal Caribbean, Sony, Dunkin‘, etc..).

Eddie has at least a dozen films that he headlined between 22-42 years ago that are all still remembered fondly to this day. Plus 2 of the funniest standup comedy speicals ever made. Eddie may have been a falling star at one point, but Spade never even made it past the Earth’s atmosphere. Cruising altitude if hes lucky.

Enough of this story lol. Isn’t Spade sick of talking about it? Eddie Murphy can’t take a joke and laugh at himself. That’s the story. Spade didn’t do anything wrong, but Eddie projected most of his anger about the situation onto David. For 2 decades
