The question is, will the coalition of the willing send in troops during those 60 days? Because if they do, obviously Ukrainians could simply reject the referendum. Otherwise, it’s very hard to predict how the referendum would turn out…
Why not 600 days? Or 6000 days?
Ain’t no way in hell Putin agrees to a ceasefire without getting at least formal assurances of some of his goals being met. 60 days for Ukraine to restock, rearm, rebuild, replenish forces, have proper rotations the troops have been praying for months for, for winter to end only to see how Ukrainians vote „no“?
