Back in the olden days, winter saved Russia. Now they’re just freezing to death, losing the few inches they gained, sacrificing tens of thousands of lives. Old man frost has had it with this country.

I wonder how the milbloggers get some of this information.
I can’t wrap my mind around the idea of a civilian posting this stuff for the world to see, and not getting into trouble with their own government. I mean, we do have cases of journalists accompanying military units, but they’re not allowed to report anything that would give the units‘ positions or strategy away.
I mean, GOOD, let the milbloggers blab every possible thing about what Russia is doing, and spoil as many secrets as possible. But that doesn’t mean I’m not surprised, when I see it, that they’re posting these things without apparent repercussion.

The air assault units are critical for Russia. Them and the Airborne have been the QRF when the UA tries to make breakthroughs. If they’re losing the legit contract soldiers in company sized losses that’s going to degrade things for Russia in that direction.
