    1. It will be reopened next week as the Donald J. Trump Center for People accused of Pedophilia (~~Wrongly~~)

    2. Can’t he just take a flight to visit his girlfriend again? It’s less stressful for us when that’s his corruption.

It’s hard to overstate the symbolism of this. The Hoover Building was the FBI’s public face for generations. Closing it isn’t just a real estate move it feels like a definitive, physical end to an era. A massive change for the agents and the public’s image of the Bureau.

Moves like this should require congressional budgeting to approve. The fact that congress has delegated this power to the executive over the last 70 years is on both dems and reps.

      This should be interesting.

We’re about to have an FBI HQ named after somebody who should be on their Most Wanted List.

They setting up headquarters at Kash Patel’s girlfriend’s house? They seem to be wasting enough FBI resources on her

    7. So a „cost saving“ move, is to move the FBI out of a building specifically built and designed for the FBI, to a building NOT designed and built by the FBI, and that’s supposed to save money? … It’s supposed to SAVE money…

Why not just burn down the Lincoln Memorial, piss on the Tomb Of The Unknown

Temporary offices will be located near a self valued 5-star Trump Hotel, with prices increased due to surge demand

Not /s, I’m confident this is the grift

    10. >the move is an effort to move the bureau into a safer, more modern facility.

Anyone want to bet that facility is going to be owned by Trump, or one of his cronies, and is going to cost billions to „secure“?

Honest to God, this feels like the kind of thing that should require some public commentary period, and specific appropriation, and congressional approval. Otherwise what’s to stop any future administrations from moving it around willy-nilly?

Like, one administration should not be able to change this much about the federal government, even the executive branch, without congressional oversight. And yes, I understand the Congress is a rubber stamp for now, but at least it would lend a whiff of public interest legitimacy.

Dope, another massive, expensive, decisive change made by an administration under fire for pervasive corruption, ineptitude, and pedophilia. The end cannot come soon enough.

    13. The amount of dismantling this regime has done in less than a year is utterly staggering.

isnt this dude spending like half a billion dollars on luxuries and swat team escorts for his honeypot gf and bulletproof bmws maybe fire him if you want to save costs

If you were a Russian asset. And you wanted to do the most damage to the FBI. This is what you would do.

DUDE.. WTF? I thought this traitor was arrested and forced to resign? He is STILL in power? After all the fuckups and stealing of govt taxes to fly his bimbo around? How?

    17. GurrenLuigi on

Yeah. This is 100% a play to weaken the U.S. and have our Intel leaked. I fucking hate these traitors. It just blows me away how awful the human race is. How we could let this happen. How some could want it to happen. Just blow up our planet at this point. It’s just so overrun with human garbage and it’s only getting worse.

    18. I am not sure how I feel about this but I am pretty sure I will be annoyed when they rename the new building the Donald Trump FBI headquarters

    19. I would just like to offer FUCK J. EDGAR HOOVER. He is much of the reason that the War on Drugs took the shape that it did. He is responsible for an untold amount of money and human suffering including major elements of the Prison industrial complex.
