“Yes you can have this small swathe of nothingness with this single village in exchange for the entire Donbas region. No of course we would never ever invade you again to retake Russian territory. We would only do that to protect Russian citizens…”

Russia gets the Donbass and Ukraine gets everything east of the Urals

  3. Love the pay-wall… „members get less advertising“ lmao pay to still have to put up with ads…

So no idea on the specifics of the article, however do we need any? ruSSia cannot be trusted, this has been proven time and time again.

pukin is waging grey-warfare on Europe, double can’t trust him.

Neither Ukrainian nor ruSSian’s lives matter to pukin, so we most definitely can’t trust him.

He also said he will achieve his goals militarily if needs be but IF he ever agrees to a cease-fire we can be certain that trump will „bring pukin in from the cold“ at which point he will rearm and reengage in hostilities in a year or two

So Russia is going to swap stolen Ukrainian land for now to be stolen more land.

  5. It’s all a lie. They may give it up temporarily but they’d never voluntarily secede land permanently. It’s all lies

„I’ll swap you this 1 sqm piece of Donbas for the rest of the Donbas, and you’ll be happy with it. Accept or the bombing will continue.”

    Fuck Putin.

  7. Even if they trade some shitty land for Donbas, then Russia has the strongholds of UA under their control. Now Russia will either influence UA politics to install another puppet or just rebuild a few years and then continue their war until they have UA under full occupation. In that case they also get back whatever they traded here.

It’s a ruse and everybody knows it.

Europe must support UA with all they have or we will have some dark decades ahead of us. Russia will not stop, once they have UA. They will, together with the US, dismantle NATO and the EU and then take over.

  8. >Ukraine withdrawing from all of Donbas, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions

    and

    >According to Kommersant, Putin also raised the issue of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest nuclear facility in Europe, at his meeting with businessmen.
Putin, according to Kommersant, said that joint Russian-U.S. management of the nuclear power station was being discussed.
Putin also said that the United States had expressed an interest in crypto mining near the plant and that the plant should be used to partially supply Ukraine, Kommersant said.

So, there is a crisis of energy in the states, not enough electricity is generated for how many AI gpus they have. This is literally a recent complaint from Microsoft CEO. Now US wants the biggest nuclear power plant in Ukraine. That power plant alone could power the equivalent of 10 AI data centers in US.

To put in perspective, the capacity of this power plant is roughly equivalent to the entire average electricity demand of my country, Romania.

The USA wants to manage a nuclear power plant, so that it can use the energy to mine crypto for profit. Ukraines power plant and its energy should be for Ukraine! Blatant US corruption and profiteering, sad times 🙁

Putin can have all of Donbas the day they rename Moscow to Zelenskyygrad.

The dorky darklord speaks again. Russia and Putin and every Russian government before and those to come are proud to be known as expansionist genocide machines with a positive fetish for corruption. Who else is keeping domino theory alive and refreshingly valid? Otherwise how da fuq they always the largest country on earth?

No peace has ever been possible with any such place and it is irresponsible and foolish and supportive of genocidal scum to so much and entertain it given the historical context.

Well trade your farmland for your peninsula and bridge. Is good deal. You buy now we throw in part of Poland!

Russian leaders only know how backstab, from Stalin to Putin their word is worthless.

I mean, Kaliningrad for Crimea might be the only acceptable territory swap.

  16. Unicorn_Puppy on

Yeah and they’re also probably more than likely going to take that as an opportunity to regroup and gather whatever 1950’s garbage hardware they have and lump it together to start attacking again within 6 months or whenever Trump is Deposed/out of office due to 2 term limit.

  17. Such a wild scenario. Someone breaks into your house and now wants to negotiate how much they get to keep.

  18. Maybe they should give up Kaliningrad then, but we know that would never happen.

Too bad Poland can’t just have a 3 day operation of their own.

  19. So, Crimea goes to Ukraine, and Ruzzia gets some villages in Donbass? What? No? Well then.

  20. CryptoCryBubba on

    It’s some more delaying bullshit.

He knows when he makes a comment like this, Western politicians and negotiators will see it as a „promising signal“ or some sort of „progress“… and then engage in weeks of discussion and appeasements.

    He’ll then reject every scenario.

    It’s very simple. Actions… Not… Words.
