    1. Don’t worry, their shared hate of brown people and gays will get them through this rough patch.

It’s not like nobody saw this coming. It takes a very basic understanding of economics to know his policies would drive inflation, hurt employers and otherwise negatively impact the conditions that affect everyday Americans.

How many of the working class voted for him?

How many of the working class voted for him twice?

How many of the working class voted for him three times?

How many of the working class would vote for him again if given the chance?

    4. So, that changes nothing.  It’s time to protest in the streets.  Fuck this guy

They need to listen to him. Don’t believe their ears and eyes and budget

No, it didn’t. It’s still in the 30s, but sites gotta get clicks.

    7. Sure they don’t approve of Trump but they fear democrats even more because the GOP is allowed to feed them outlandish lies. Approval rating hasn’t mattered in forever.

    8. Hopefully these voters show up angry and ready to punish the party that let a toddler run amok.

    9. It still amazes me how blue collar and working class people thought a billionaire con artist and criminal was relatable and “the same as [them]” after all these years

Trump’s approval rating should have *started* at rock bottom with the working class. He’s never cared about them and yet so many voted for him…twice.

    11. His approval rating has dropped and then the next month it drops again, but nothing happens. He just gets shittier.

    12. Trump had already said, „I don’t care about you, I just want your vote.“

Were his supporters hard of hearing? Did they think Trump really cared after saying he didn’t? Were Trump supporters so filled with hatred toward Democrats, migrants, DEI, they didn’t care?

    13. Get ready for round two midterm strategy of;

“Hey look at Trump and Elon, look, they’re bros. Isn’t that cool ? They’re bros”

      Because that swayed people

    14. Prophet_Tehenhauin on

But his approval rating is sky high with rapists and pedophiles

    15. White working class voters would still vote for him cause racism is a hell of a drug and white people in America are HIGHLY addicted.

    16. Motor_Somewhere7565 on

If he had 0% approval rating, he’d still say he’s the most popular president since Lincoln

      31% is not „rock bottom.“

Also, polls don’t matter as long as he has his maga cult, who are literally ignoring information coming out of the Trump-Epstein files release. Also, he controls Congress and the DOJ, so he’s not going anywhere without the help of a McDonald’s BigMac and poor health.

Remember, the working class used to consistently vote Democrat.

Working class voters made up the heart of the Democratic Party for most of the last 100 years, but in 2024, Trump won the „Income under $50K“ demographic. Why?

    19. If its above zero then its unfortunately not rock bottom, and the MAGA folks are incredibly resistant to logic

    20. Working class is getting what they voted for, and what they’ll likely vote for again

    21. SillyGoatGruff on

31% isn’t rock bottom, 0% is rock bottom. And also where he should be in any sane society

    22. im_in_hiding on

The white working class will still vote for him though. They just hate minorities and gays too much.

    23. I’m not thing that matters is that MAGA s sill in garage

TAX THE OLIGARCHS TO RESTORE THE AMERICAN DREAM

    24. TheDwellingHeart on

It doesn’t matter. Because those that voted for him again would vote for him again. They wanted to hurt other people in USA without accountability and this is how they do it.

The „conservatives“ wanted to tell everyone else how to live their personal lives with all their fear mongering and ludicrous bad faith arguments. They were more than happy to vote for the SUPER OBVIOUS DEMAGOGUE because they were and are excited at the prospect of causing pain and siffering to those they disapprove of.

    25. Ojay-simpson on

This tracks. I’ve just been waiting to see how long it took. The MAGA “foot soldiers” are stupid people. – Not coincidentally, a lot of stupid people are also poor people. – Trump has no interest in helping anyone but Trump and the ultra wealthy.

So naturally – what else could happen? At some point… even stupid people can’t believe that “everything is great” when their broke ass is now “extra broke” (no matter how much you shout it at them).

    26. Rude-Strawberry-6360 on

More of them should have voted in accordance with this epiphany.

    27. Safe to say, I didn’t get the thing I wanted the most for Christmas. I won’t say what that was, because I’m just coming off a week ban. But I think you know.

Also, this is about the thousandth time we’ve seen a headline like this. But I’m sure he’ll face any kind of consequences THIS TIME, right?

    28. manniesalado on

Well, you know what they say. If you vote Republican you are either rich or stupid.
