The other 45% are dead or in prison
Most street inteviews demonstrate they want the “SMO” to end, but on Kremlin terms.
Oh yeah, because they suffer so much from the war. Poor ruzzians …
If only they had the power that make that happen.
If they actually believe that then they might think they could get decent signup bonus by joining russian army right before peace talks seem to progress which is probably why russia starts with some „peacetalks“ every few months.
In other news 55% of Russians will be disappointed.
Back to normal? I do not wish that upon them. May they rot in hell.

For the average Russian who doesn’t care about politics or what their government is doing, how had life changed since the start of the war?

Life for most Russians is normal, unlike life for most Ukrainians.
