Yes MTG is not a leftist. Yes she is still a terrible person and her turning on Trump is likely due to her being snubbed instead of principles. However, that doesn’t change the fact that her turning on Trump is a good thing. Republican infighting is a good thing. Cracks forming in the MAGA base is a good thing. Republicans‘ strength has always come from their ability to fall in line and work in lockstep when it really counts(something I wish the leftists in the US could do for even one election cycle) so if the Epstein files are what it takes to cause enough of them to fall out of step to get a Democratic supermajority then I’m not going to complain.

Theory: Trump ratted on Epstein to the feds. He has a non-prosecution agreement of his own (or is named in Epstein’s). He got this by admitting participation of some kind with Epstein In exchange for his testimony.
That’s why he is fighting this tooth and nail.
