It wasn’t really a single use plastic ban. It was fractured and stupid. But we should replace it with something stronger not remove it. I shouldnt have to rip off the plastic on my 24 pack of TP, to find 4 six packs also wrapped in plastic, just to rip those open and see each roll individually wrapped in plastic. This is a waste and terrible for the environment and humans.
There were better solutions, cardboard straws were not the solution.
It was hard to say it was about the environment when other things are still environmentally bad and being produced

Ban all single-use plastics it’s idiotic beyond words to create something that takes hundreds of years to break down for something that people use one single time then throw sway
