Way bigger than Watergate. The difference is that back then the GOP had a spine as was not mostly controlled by Moscow, and they convinced Nixon to step down.
Add that to the list of things „larger than Watergate“ that have come and gone. Welcome to the descent.
Man they are trying so so hard to make the DOJ and FBI seem like entities that havent been fully compromised by the MAGA crime cult.

I tend to think of child rape as more egregious a crime than breaking into an office.

Trump has gotten away with a number of things “larger than watergate” because the GOP and his base have zero interest in accountability.
The coverup was a bigger crime than the Watergate break-in. The same cannot be said about Epstein crimes.
Trump’s firing of Comey was bigger than Watergate. As was his attempt to blackmail Ukraine into manufacturing an investigation into Biden. Same with pardoning his co-conspirators for criminally obstructing the Russia investigation. And his coup attempt and subsequent pardoning of people who committed political violence on his behalf.
I’m barely scratching the surface, but Watergate was small beans compared to Trump’s corruption.
