It’s a Polish flag with a Polska Walcząca [Poland Combatant] symbol – the symbol of Polish resistance against Germany in WW2

Is that not just an „Armia Krajowa“ flag, or some variation? People fly them in honor of the Polish Resistance to the Nazis.

Our ancestors fought nazis and commies, so now you can order extra large hot-dog and coffee 7 days a week, even on holidays. You don’t to thank.

      Pierwszego sierpnia w całej Warszawie
      Się rozpoczęła okropna draka,
      Po jednej stronie byli Germańce,
      Po drugiej stronie warszawska Żabka.

Its not just „anti-facist“ or „anti-Nazi“. Its national pride

The Soviets invaded Poland in a pre-arragned agreement (Molotov-Ribentrop Agreement) on 17 SEPT 1939 from the East. There most notorious massacre was at Katyn where NKVD executed 21, 857 Polish military, law informcement, and Intelligence Officials.

When the Polish Home Army stood up to the Nazis in preparation for the Soviets arriving in Poland, the Soviets halted as they wanted the Home Army to be eliminated prior to theit „liberation“ as they saw them as a threat. When the Americand attempted to drop supplies for the Poles, the Soviets were upset and ended future Shuttle Missions.
