Are you sure you’ve tared that scale properly? Placing it on a squishy surface like a sofa won’t necessarily help with an accurate reading.
They also contain sugar now which must be a new thing. Definitely don’t taste as good as they used to. Dare I say the Nordie Tayto is nicer now!
More likely your scales aren’t great with small amounts / the soft surface is skewing the result. If it is actually off that much, then that pack isn’t meeting that „e“ label requirements.

It says 40% less on the bag so that seems about right.
Soft surface. Put this on kitchen counter.
Get it off a cushion first of all
You forget to add in the weight of your guilt for eating unhealthy food. That’s at least another 10g.
I withdraw my rage. Scales were off on the soft surface. Bag is 31g. It’s a Christmas miracle.
It’s the air in the bag that’s making it lighter/s
Says it right there in green OP.
40% less
The only crime here is the surface the scales were measured on
We need a fake news flair
Wouldn’t get this with Northern (proper) Tayto.
I said what I said.
I bought goats cheese the other day that said 125g minimum. There was only 115g in it. Not happy but not mad enough to report it.
Using a scales on a cushion. OP might not be the full shilling either
If this was a drug deal….
It’s a bag of tayto not coke
Expose them all!

Hot take. Tayto<king<manhattan
