      >[Osman Azizov is out on bail.](https://www.ctvnews.ca/toronto/article/toronto-man-charged-with-terrorism-related-offences-linked-to-isis/) It cannot be, and yet, apparently, it is. Among the 14 charges against the 18-year-old Toronto man, and two alleged accomplices, are sexual assault with a weapon, attempted kidnapping, impersonating a police officer and unauthorized possession of at least one firearm…

      >…So in a nutshell, here’s what Torontonians and other area residents are being told: Three guys were allegedly running around trying to sexually assault and kidnap women for God-only-knows what purposes. Possibly they (or at least one of them) were targeting Jewish women specifically, though police communications have been somewhat vague on this point. There is a an alleged nexus, albeit indirectly in Azizov’s case, to Middle East terrorism.

      >And *that’s* somehow not enough to keep the accused behind bars pending his trial?

    2. “Feel” safe?

      This isn’t about feelings.

      Women and society are unsafe.

Reverse onus bail needs to be fixed. Justin ruined it.
Mandatory minimums for gun crimes need to be reinstated. Justin ruined it.
      This needs to happen yesterday.

There is an epidemic of domestic violence in Ontario right now. Anthony Deschepper- who is white btw, shot and killed his ex-partner in Vaughan just two months ago. Domestic violence is not bound by race or colour.

Women reject your sudden interest in our safety as a crass attempt to hide your racism and xenophobia.

If you care about women’s safety, the problem is men. Not just about migrant men. White men too.

Don’t hijack this for your racist agenda

Bit of a bad question. I mean, I’m a 200lb gym bro who has trained martial arts. I don’t walk around with headphones in and I’m always scanning. I don’t ‚feel safe‘ because I won’t be attacked. I feel *safe enough* that I can notice a threat in advance and most likely can overcome it if anything happens. Meanwhile, people who don’t feel safe are walking around with headphones on and their heads up their arses.

Their is a difference between feeling safe and being safe. Things need to be done that statistically will keep women safe on the streets. Feelings are irrelevant.

Men too. Look at how many men robbed in their own home. We all deserve to be safe in Canada, but the Liberal agenda is to keep criminals safe.

    7. Worth considering when they overwhelmingly vote for more third world migration and soft on crime policies.

Funny part is liberal women always voting for the party of crime and chaos. Then complain that they don’t feel safe.

This could be solved so easily with strict laws, deporting and actually locking up criminals instead of house arrest and bail. Instead we have foreigners getting lesser sentences because it affects their immigration status.

Everyone deserves to BE safe , when you get into in to people deserving to FEEL a certain way you can run into a lot of problems very fast

In this case either is happening so let’s just work on streets being safe for now

The more often „judges“ allow criminals like these back on the streets the more likely vigilantes will dispatch justice as they see fit.

Adult women’s? I’m sure most of them do, but do I care? No, and I’m sure they don’t give a single shit if I die in the streets either.

according to our federal government and the liberal party which has been in power for 10 years- no, we don’t. because cwiminals have feewings too 🥺🥺 and we need to respect them 🥺 even if they commit the most egregious crimes.

      fucking joke of a country.

As a woman, I no longer feel safe in my community due to how often violent perpetrators are let out on bail.

    14. I work first hand in this system and the amount of parolee’s that the parole board of Canada decides to cancel their suspension only to be let back out to reoffend is staggering. I’ve been in this for 20 years and right now is by far the worst I have ever seen it. I feel terrible for all the victims and victims to be. It’s not only the judges in these cases, but also the PBC for causing a revolving door of crime.

    15. Canadians wanted this. They voted for the same liberals who created the current version of bail reform.

    16. I would have always answered yes but apparently now it depends on race or something?

    17. They do, unfortunately judges don’t feel like they deserve to, otherwise they wouldn’t constantly be releasing repeat offenders that are beyond fixing.

The author somehow turned this into a hit piece against a prominent Jewish Canadian and NDP leadership candidate Avi Lewis.
