      Since WWII, we’ve managed to accomplish our security needs in the region with the cooperation of Greenlanders. Even through the hair-trigger days of the Cold War. What legit factor has changed? I think Trump’s admiration for dictators – they can do what they want and their subordinates fear them – is something that is deep within his psyche. He wants that experience. He needs that validation.

      My guess is that Putin and Xi offered him all of North and South America to abandon Europe and the countries in China’s sphere of influence (Japan, S. Korea, Australia etc) and so he thinks that he has the right to just take what he wants in „his“ sphere. Thus, Greenland, Canada, and Venezuela. He’ll deal with the rest, the parts that have brown people with no oil, later.

      The rest of the world needs to start Banning U.S. Travel. Kick out U.S. Military bases, Cease trading with the U.S. in FULL and basically punish the U.S. until such time as Trump and his horde of Cronies are fully removed from government.

      No single country alone can stand up to the U.S. maybe… but united, they can topple the empire built on sand.
