Wait. I thought they had already been helping him. Is he now missing again?
I would imagine several people with means will offer him help in the coming days. The question for him is really whether or not he’ll be able to figure things out in the long term. I would guess that both addiction and chronic mental health problems are involved here, and those don’t disappear just because someone gives you a place to stay, or even pays for you to go to rehab or counseling. Not everyone who needs help is willing, or even able, to really accept it.
That is so kind of him. I was just thinking of him (Weiss) when the news broke because he had a similar situation and was on the path to recovery. I hope they find him and are able to help him.
For such a terrible situation this is a heartwarming story. He knows exactly what he’s going through and is a position to help. That’s wonderful.
