Maybe Denmark should acquire additional F35s, that will be better message that these puny summons.
If I were Denmark, I would cancel all arms orders. The US companies that would see their revenue decrease would put pressure on US politicians to make an effort for Denmark. This would certainly be more effective than any Danish diplomatic posturing.

Guys this is an envoy not an ambassador or Chargé d’Affaires, it’s basically an executive position of someone who advises on a specific topic, the person appointed is a current governor of a state in the US, he will be to busy to think of Greenland, if trump was really serious he will appoint a crazy maga loon, Jeff isn’t that. He might even be on green lands side

Europe was having fun when it was in the bully’s posse. When Africa and Asia and Palestine were on the menu, and Europe was the little sidekick that got preferred deals, once the US got countries upon their back. In return for going along with the USA at the UN, at the WTO, and on the global stage, and thus giving at least the patina of ‘international consensus’ to things that Washington imposed, Europe got an occasional slice of meat from Washington’s table of global exploitation.
But now things have changed; the global mafia don understands its power has waned, and now it seeks to take all it can from the most vulnerable—including its former minions. Just like how Tony Soprano—when his gambling debts started piling up—started squeezing his own mafia family more, the USA is demanding more from Europe in the knowledge that Europe has become dependent upon the USA, and has no where else to turn.
