      Deport him.

Stop playing nice with the far-right idiocratic US government.

    4. Maybe Denmark should acquire additional F35s, that will be better message that these puny summons.

If I were Denmark, I would cancel all arms orders. The US companies that would see their revenue decrease would put pressure on US politicians to make an effort for Denmark. This would certainly be more effective than any Danish diplomatic posturing.

It’s time we start treating this criminal American administration with the contempt it deserves. It’s not our ally it’s a threat to all of us

    7. Awkward how Denmark just placed a fat order for military equipment from their future invaders

Guys this is an envoy not an ambassador or Chargé d’Affaires, it’s basically an executive position of someone who advises on a specific topic, the person appointed is a current governor of a state in the US, he will be to busy to think of Greenland, if trump was really serious he will appoint a crazy maga loon, Jeff isn’t that. He might even be on green lands side

This shit is why some people are saying to prepare for war.

It’s not war against Russia, it’s against the USA. We live in a reality where the USA does pose a serious threat to our safety.

    10. I’m sure after a strongly worded letter, they are going to buy even more Lockheed Martin

Honestly this is what we get for playing softball with the yanks. The Canada 51st state shit stopped pretty quickly when it had consequences.

      For example
„Hey Donald, you know those amazing European lithography machines that give you a technological advantage over your biggest rival? Ya there’s 5 of them en route to Beijing. Cut this shit out and drop the nonsense unilateral tariffs and they might turn around“

Lolol. Europe getting exactly what it deserves now.

Europe was having fun when it was in the bully’s posse. When Africa and Asia and Palestine were on the menu, and Europe was the little sidekick that got preferred deals, once the US got countries upon their back. In return for going along with the USA at the UN, at the WTO, and on the global stage, and thus giving at least the patina of ‘international consensus’ to things that Washington imposed, Europe got an occasional slice of meat from Washington’s table of global exploitation.

But now things have changed; the global mafia don understands its power has waned, and now it seeks to take all it can from the most vulnerable—including its former minions. Just like how Tony Soprano—when his gambling debts started piling up—started squeezing his own mafia family more, the USA is demanding more from Europe in the knowledge that Europe has become dependent upon the USA, and has no where else to turn.

Enjoy your Ukraine mess Europe; it sucks that the USA dragged you right into it and left you with a giant mess, but you should have exercised some critical thinking, and understood this was always going to be the inevitable outcome. Lord knows us ‘Russia apologists’ warned you it would happen since at least 2014. Oh well; have fun with the cleanup I guess.

    13. You guys don’t seem to know how envoys work. You can’t just show up on foreign land. You need to ask for permission from Greenland.

„How could Putin do this“ is such a cop out, like the most powerful country this world has ever seen is not responsible for their own actions

I doubt Trump would invade Greenland..

He learned back in the 70s that making threats works a lot of the time. And sometimes he’ll actually get something beneficial out of it. Such as having big bank loans written off

He’s using those same tactics as president.

Standing up to him and making him look foolish works.

He’s most likely hoping to get unfettered access to Greenland’s resources.

Despite his threats, he hasn’t invaded Venezuela yet. He just wants their oil.
