Now is the time to remake the entire system and to do that we need a new bill of rights including:
Direct democracy, Full transparency of the government, Universal basic income of a livable wage, Wealth limit of $100 million dollars, Salary disclosures for everyone, Equal justice for all, Ban NDAs, Healthcare as a right, Abortion and birth control guaranteed access, Same sex marriage as a right

They are going to claim that he’s not really the mayor because AG James is somehow not legitimate in her role. Just you watch the nonsense they will try to pull.
Honestly rooting for Mamdani. I am not in support of ALL his policies but he really seems to fix affordability crisis which is real af. Hopefully Governor doesn’t come in his way and more progressives like him come out and win primaries
You just *know* him being sworn in by them is going to irk the hell out of Trump and Co. Love to see it.
I really hope he is a true breath of fresh air, and he isn’t hampered in his attempts to make the city a better place (hampered from *both* sides, unfortunately…only time „both sides“ is a thing).
