PP= 38,85 to 43,18% (29 seats)
Socialist= 39,89 to 25,72% (18 seats)
Vox= 8,12 to 16,9% (11 seats)
Historically Extremadura is the most left wing region of Spain.
The fact that you have to read from right to left hurts me.
The inverted before after position convention is something.

PP is not rigth wing, PP is centre party.
To put some context, PSOE (red, left-wing socialists) ran a candidate indicted for corruption, acused of giving the current president’s brother a fictional job in some public made up position. The PSOE candidate was loking for „aforamiento“, which is a special protection for politicians if they get elected to the local parliament so they can’t be judged by any judge. It was a clear move to try and avoid prosecution.
That’s only part of the humongous corruption scandals that have been happening at a local and national level in the last year.
After all that, 25% of voters still put their confidence itn the PSOE candidate….
I guess this happens when reality hits u in the face. No sane people should vote for left wing parties.
The fact that all the VOX-voting municipalities were red just 2 years ago is just a proof that the left/right dichotomy is outdated in the current times
A good map should not have users confused as to what is showing.
Most people outside Spain don’t know Extremadura. I thought it’s a name of a parliament in a latin american country or something until I googled it

What am I looking at? A US state? Territory? An African nation?
